Even if you are not a skier or a snowboarder, there are so many fun and exciting activities that you can participate in that are right nearby. At Owl’s Nest, you can cross country ski or snowshoe throughout the golf course (weather & conditions permitting) and go ice skating on Lake Harold. If you are fan of hockey, be sure to check out the pond hockey tournament taking place from January 27 – January 29! The tournament will host 4-on-4 games with 10-person teams. Spectators are more than welcome to come join in the fun of watching some classic pond hockey! In addition, there are also introductory-level snowshoe trails located via Smarts Brook trailhead right off Route 49, as well as more challenging routes that you can check out at Welch and Dickey trailhead.
