Born and raised in Romania, Cos discovered his passion for racquet sports at a young age. With talent and dedication, he earned a spot in the top 10 of the U18 Junior National Tennis Rankings. Fueled by his competitive spirit, Cos continued to hone his skills and played Division I tennis while earning his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management at the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) in Newark, NJ. As captain of the men’s tennis team, he was named NCAA Scholar-Athlete of the Year in 2009 and received the NCAA MVP award for NJIT’s Men’s Division I Team.
Before joining Owl’s Nest Resort, Cos worked as a racquet professional in the New England area for over 15 years, becoming one of the most respected pros in tennis, pickleball, and paddle at some of the most prestigious clubs in Massachusetts. He held leadership positions at Weston Golf Club, Wightman Tennis Center, Dedham Country and Polo Club, and Bosse Sports Club.
Cos is eager to expand Owl’s Nest’s offerings in tennis, pickleball, and paddle, leveraging his marketing and racquet professional expertise. As Owl’s Nest progresses towards becoming one of the most expansive and premier racquet resorts globally, Cos is committed to making it a top racquet destination on the East Coast.
When off the court, Cos enjoys the great outdoors with his wife, Madeline, and their dog, Ruby Lou. They love hiking, traveling, paddleboarding, and biking. Cos is also passionate about cooking, and his signature dish is Shrimp Scampi — all made from scratch!
